Conference Wrap Up

               

                                                  DVD Set now available!  

     A Gathering of Men, 2007 met all expectations as a far as attendance, quality of speakers and corporate worship! 
     Approximately 24 congregations and a dozen church denominations were represented. Many of the men who were heavily involved with the gathering have provided both helpful and encouraging feed-back on the conference. From those comments, we believe that no one went away without several of the speakers having given them words of blessing and encouragement. 

     We who poured ourselves into the endeavor of bringing this conference to fruition want to thank all of you who attended.  We were blessed to see you there.  For those who could not make it, we hope that you will hear from someone who did and are encouraged to attend an event in the future that we either sponsor or help facilitate. We also want to send out a special thanks to the following men, churches and groups who made this gathering of men a special day for all of us.

     Special thanks to Bobby Wilkerson, Dave Crookshank, Mike Cox, Bill Troyer, Art Ingram, George Pyers, Jason Comstock, Patrick Cooper, Mike Beiler, Ralph Elliott, Marcus Martindale, John Morrison (Morrison Photography), Agape Community Fellowship, Vineyard Church of Marysville, Shiloh Chapel, the Shiloh Chapel worship team and of course all the event speakers. There may be some whom we have failed to mention. Please accept our apologies if that is the case. The important thing is that God knows of your efforts.

     The conference met our goal to encourage men of our community to boldly take the gospel out of the four walls of their church and into their community. We further encourage men to take what they hear in their church and put it into action and accept as a personal call, our Savior's last instructions: 

     "And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, 18 "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
